Chemistry lab

The chemical laboratory with the connected analytics contains the extensive infrastructure required for the most diverse projects in the field of chemistry and materials research. The laboratory itself is primarily dedicated to the preparation of chemical precursor solutions, which are used for the production of REBCO superconducting thin films by chemical solution deposition (CSD). However, it also enables other wet chemical processes, such as sample etching or electrochemical deposition on short and long samples. It is equipped with fume cupboards, precision scales, (vacuum) drying cabinets, a Schlenk line, ultrasonic baths and rotary evaporators. Various glove boxes are available for work in an inert gas atmosphere.
