Badges, conference equipment
Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration, the conference program and information material.

Currency Exchange
The official currency is Euro. Bank houses are across the street from Crowne Plaza within 100 m distance and can handle all money and currency issues.

Climate and Dress
The weather in Heidelberg at this time of the year can be sunny or rainy with temperatures usually at 5-10 degrees Celsius (average is 6° C); depending on the European weather situation snow showers and colder temperatures may occur, but there is also a chance for some sun. Please check the weather forecast before travelling at www.wetteronline.de and type in < Heidelberg >. If you click on < Trend > you will see the 5 days forecast which is usually representative for the upcoming time.

Electricity
Electrical current in Germany is 220 V/50 Hz. Most of the Hotel room have international wall plugs.

Passport, Visa and Invitation letter

Shopping

The shopping zone begins already around the Hotel. The main pedestrian shopping zone is 150 m away, crossing the old town parallel to the Neckar River. < Hauptstrasse > is famous being one of the longest pedestrian zones and shopping streets in Germany with a length of about 3 km.
