Unit: Climate
The currently greatest global challenge is the climate change along with the future energy supply of mankind. The radiation balance of our atmosphere is not in equilibrium due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases.
Climate-neutral variants of energy production are an important contribution reducing global warming. The use of solar and wind power in generating electrical energy already represent two options today.
Great hopes are also placed on fusion technology, which is expected to bring the sun fire to earth in the future.
